Cat owners read!

I have three cats.

Nosher, who is about 4 years old and is a pure bred chocolate point Tonkinese: http://www.snarkbait.com/dave/nosher/almost1year.jpg

Simon, who is the same age and is a pure bred CLASSIC blue point Siamese: http://www.snarkbait.com/dave/simon/simondesk.jpg

And Shadow, whose mother was found in a box by a rescue place. She gave birth to 4 kittens. Shadow was the only one to live. He's deaf--and the sweetest cat to ever live: http://www.snarkbait.com/dave/shadow/nap.jpg

Shadow is about a year older than the other two. Here's all three, when the two were kittens: http://www.snarkbait.com/dave/shadow/shadowsbuds.jpg

Aww that is SO adorable! I love tabby-pointed Siamese.. my mother has a female tabby pointed Siamese... she has one of her litter living with her, though... the father of the off-spring was tabby pointed Siamese as well, but the funny thing is that the one offspring male ended up VERY tabby rather than Siamese.. The momma cat is named Zena, the big baby boy is named Yoda.

Those are called Lynx Point Siamese. They're REALLY pretty cats. And nice personalities. My neice has one.

They think all domesticated cats come from a very tabby-looking kind of cat, called the African Wild Cat.

This is a picture of one: http://www.moggies.co.uk/breeds/wildcat.jpg

Looks kind of like a normal cat, but it's a little bigger--and you don't want to play with it. ;)

Good pic that shows the size of 'em here: http://www.africancats-hounds.co.za/Images/Klaus_Larsen_African_Wild_Cat.jpg

Slightly bigger than the average house cat. DNA shows that domestic cats came out of this line, probably.

I have 3 cats.

one is very light orange tiger name Tiger and he is 7 months old.

One is brown tiger name Brownie and she will be 7 in july.

Other one is SHD cat color is all white with some black name Dottie and she will be 6 in july.

Beautiful cats you have there, WH.

Yes, I'm familiar with the characters of Mortal Kombat. Going a bit off-topic, you know that MK7:Armageddon has been out since Oct 2006? It contained every single character from MK1 through 6. The next one, MK8 which is slated for release in 2008 or 2009, is going to be entirely new, no recurring characters from 1-7.

Wish I'd have a cat for myself, but my mom doesn't want cat hair strewn everywhere, lol. On a side note, she's not allergic or anything; she just doesn't want to have to clean up the mess.

Thanks.

Yeah I know.. Vampy told me about it.

Get a hairless cat? That solves it all..

AWWWWW! ALL of your cats are so beautiful! And I loved the last pictures...sleeping together...too sweet!

I used to have 3 siamese cats. 1 was blue point and 2 were chocolate point..

For some reason.. our oldest chocolate point was named Ping... I think she was 3 years old.

Our blue point was named Pong... was 4 years old.

The youngest chocolate point was named Baby, but she was a nightmare, to be polite. I mean.. think of a kitty version of Cruella Deville...

No, I did not name the cats.. My mother did. Why? I have no clue.

Oh, that's cute cats.

I owned 2 cats too. :)

we have two kittens that are nearly 39 weeks old (almost a year olds) and their names are Rambo and Frisky... they were born biological brothers by same mother... Rambo is American Tuxedo cat (black and white) and Frisky is silver stripped and spots with white body (tuxedo type).

Ragdolls are like siamese coloring but pursian hair, right?

And I wouldn't know--my brother does the cat boxes. :D

Long time ago I asked him which he wanted to do--cat boxes or clean kitchen. He wanted to do cat boxes.

He's going to Ireland for a month and I'll have to do both. :(

And then, when he is done with his internship and gets a teaching job full time, he'll move and I'll have to do it all the time. :(

Or course...fewer cats too then--only my three. (He has two himself.)

Well, the only resemblence between a Ragoll and a Siamese is their eye colour. I would say Ragdoll is totally unique because their fur doesn't look like Persian either. Ragdoll come in 3 or 4 different colour.

His picture should be somewhere in pet forum.

Have fun cleaning their litter boxes while your brother's gone *snickering*
I'm sure his cats will play up for you.

This is my family's cat- Maggie is an Abyssinian, my Aunt breeds them and gave her to us b/c she had real bad tummy issues, she is all better now, so long as she eats the right kind of food, and doesn't swallow too many bugs! We had another that looked a lot like her, Missy, who was so very sweet, would put all paws on your chest while you were holding her just so she could look at you and nuzzle, but she got too sick and died. :(
