Borax can also be good solution for roach problem to make it lined up against wall -- Just not recommend using it with pets around that would accident eat them up.

I wouldn't let any pets eat the borax if I could help it (or do you mean the roaches, bleck.) but it's pretty safe stuff. The confusion comes from people thinking that borax is boric acid and it's not, it's sodium borate.
