Best alert system??

I'm trying to decide on an alert system. I need to know when someone's at my door, and be able to have an alarm clock. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out the doorbell when my hearing aids are in, but when they're out (which is as often as possible because I like my peace and quiet) there's not a hope in hell. At least once there's been an attempted break in while I've been right there and I didn't hear anything. It took a while for anyone to want to leave me alone after that one. Lol.

Any suggestions y'all have are appreciated ! :))
 
There are door bells for the deaf. Just try it out. It has got so many additional features too.
 
Why does nobody ever look at the tens or hundreds of deaf product threads already on this forum?

I have one of these and it is LOUD. It is a motion detector so no good if you own cats. If someone came in without ringing the bell, you would likely hear it.

I think if it is inadequate for you you could return in. for comparison, I can barely hear my own voice when I yell, butI hear this ok. It lets me open the door for ventilation without worrying someone will walk in. It scares the crap out of bad guys.
