I`m Anna, 22, Ukrainian, learning ASL, really interested to find people who can help learning and want to become friends.

It’s pretty cool you’re planning on moving here! Which part, and can i be of assistance in your ASL journey?

the moving is not soon actually, and i was thinking of Pennsylvania, coz i`ve got a couple of friends over there.
and yes, sure, sounds great to me :)

Maybe we can trade, I teach you TSL(Texas Sign Language - much better than ASL - Cussing is funnier in TSL), and you help me learn Ukrainian or the basics of Russian. I am hoping to visit in the years ahead and it would be great to have a basis for communication.

ASL is a language all by itself, it's not English spoken with signs, anymore than BSL is. it's as unique as that thing growing on @authentic 's shoulders. I once heard someone say that signed English is like school ASL, or when translators are first learning and try to sign English...
