I am a blogger, who blog for over eight (8) years ever since 2007 after learning many coding languages to build a website such as PHP, HTML, CSS, MYSQL, SQL, Javascript and few others since 2003-2004 when I started learning how to code under the mentor of once very popular social networking website that was in competition with MySpace but more so of RealPics website if you know it.

Ever since I became a blogger in '07, you think that the more you blog the easier it would get for you then you find that it's not true at all because it isn't as I learned that the hard way thinking that if few years have passed in 2007 that blogging would get a bit easier except it didn't and it gotten harder in fact. The more articles you have wrote burns you out quickly to the point where you feels that all of your knowledge have already been written in several articles that you had nothing else to share because you have gave all of your knowledge so it works you harder especially trying to come up with something that you have yet acknowledged to blog. The longer you have been blogging, the more challenge you have but for me it is somewhat a pleasure because knowing that I give thousands of my readers new information or something that it is unheard of for them or to refresh their minds. I blog about several things, I am opinions blogger, reviewers, blog about technology, business, politics, current events/world, sports, outdoors/nature, foods & drinks and more so basically I am a general blogger.

Nonetheless this thread I wonder if any one of you are a blogger? If so, how long have you been blogging and what is your most challenge when it comes to writing a article for your blog? This thread is for to discuss about blogging in general. Not "check out at my blog __________" then leaves or anything that screams advertisement of your own in here because I don't want that as I am only looking for is to discuss about blogging in general. Thanks!

P.S. Please don't share your blog here unless you are allowed to do so due to the rules of AllDeaf unless you have in your signature which is allowed. Beside in this thread is not to advertise or to promote your blog, this thread is to talk about blogging in general.

If you would like my help to at least kickstart your growth in traffic of readers let me know and I would be more than happy to assist you in any way I can! Of course if I do this, you would have to be committed to doing so otherwise it would fail which it is something that I often refuse to see that to happen especially for Deaf or Hard of Hearing bloggers!

Even if you barely have any time for blogging, you should consider to bring in guest bloggers to help you to keep your blog alive!

To Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, if you are having hard time trying to find a job anywhere I recommend to give blogging a try. The income from the revenue is very steady enough where you can afford a vehicle within' a half of a year, or a brand new four wheeler within' a month to two months like I did (buying ATV from revenues within' a month for 10k).

If you can write then I suggest to blog as a job which is what I do, for over 8 years now and in order to earn a good income from revenue you must be committed as a blogger. Can't just blog out of blue, couple of sentences or whatever because you would need to find some sources to back up, then know how to do, learn on how to do search engine optimization which is very priority for blogging because that helps to bring in thousands of thousands traffic daily. You don't earn money from advertisement alone, you do affiliates as well with top affiliates such as Amazon (Aside advertisements like Adsense, Amazon Affiliates is your best friend and Commission Junction CJ is your cousin) so if you combine all of them you can bring few or several thousands of dollars monthly. You would have to really work, by work I mean writing valuable information that nobody knows, share your valid opinions and reviews on different items because the more products you reviews on different companies would be willing to offer you free stuff with paid for you to test these free stuff then write reviews about them on your blog.

Don't blog using a subdomain like yourname.blogspot.com because it is not memorable, it doesn't bring in much of revenues because advertising agencies/companies along with affiliates as well doesn't like subdomain and they would be more happier if do so on a domain hosted alone such as yourname.com. If you are interested in having your own blog, host your own blog and getting your own domain I would be more than happy to instruct you to get to it. As for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), a subdomain is never a good thing to begin with but it is only good for to practice though as if it is your practice target at shooting and many search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo etc despite subdomains so they loves domains which that means they would be more than happy to push traffics to the domains alone instead of a subdomain. That is one of few reasons that why you can monetize much more than monetizing off a subdomain which is not your own to begin with anyway because the blog you are using are owned by someone else such as Google with Blogspot or Tumblr with Yahoo for example so many good reason to go with a alone domain of your own than to use a subdomain.

Nonetheless there is a whole a lot of ways to monetize your website by blogging. The more articles you write, the more traffics you get which means the revenues steamrolling to your bank account like coins coming out unstop from a jackpot machine at casino. If you want to know anything about how to be a blogger, learn about blogging, discussing about blog and whatever else about blog I encourage you to do so in this thread!

do you earn money from blogging?
I do. That is what I live off. Bringing in revenue, using affiliates program such as Amazon Affiliate. Some bloggers prefer Ebay Affiliate but I prefer Amazon affiliate.

I used to work for coal mines monitoring, bringing in close to $1.4k a week. Blogging earns me a lot more money than that so I quit working for a coal mine as a monitoring or they call it dispatcher. If I didn't bring in more than 1.4k a week I would not quit working for a coal mine but I did few years ago (in 2007) so I quit coal mine in a heartbeat.

how do you start blogging do you approach a company?

vlogging is that much different.
No, actually it is very SAME. Only difference between vlogging and blogging is video and text.

The money from the ads on your vlogs at YouTube is SAME ads you use for your blog. So if YouTube approved your application for ads on your videos then you can use that ads for blog too. Google Adsense.

was talking to an imam last year he the one of Whitechapple mosque...He said a vlog had been written about him not nice but true..so how would a vlogger get payed that sort of vlog

I've only been blogging for a couple years, I don't make any revenue off it yet, I'm not sure I'm doing it right. My biggest challenge is having enough time to put out all the articles I want to write up. My blogs about raising a blended family of hearing and hearing impaired children together so it encompasses a lot of family related things and I don't always have time to write it down and post it in the midst of actually taking care of my large family, but I have a lot of fun sharing what I've learned through my blog. :)

there this woman in india she writes every single daily events even when she go loo...that bit ott but apparently she making money now

How does vlogger get paid? By monetizing the videos through advertisements program like Google Adsense which also offers ads for your websites or blogs to make money from your blog or website.

When people clicks on ads on your website, blog or videos Google pays you. Like $2-$5 each click, when you get up to $100 Google will send you a paycheck or send it to your banking account. Every $100 you make from Google, they send you a paycheck or to your bank monthly. So if you make $50 this month, they won't pay you this month but if you get $50 next month then that makes $100 total or more than $100 they pay you. For average, Google pays bloggers like $3,000 to $10,000 every month. Same for YouTube if you have a lot viewers.

The ads you sees on YouTube videos, is ads run by Google Adsense program which is the same program that you can use ads for your website or your blog.
