I got this link from my friend. She is oldest deaf woman and she is 100 years old birthday. I thought that you might want to see her video clip. Here is the link.

She is not deaf, but a CODA (child of Deaf Adult(s)). She was an interpreter for the Deaf. :)

Thanks! Sorry... I will have to inform my friend that she must have misunderstood it. I am very impressive about the woman's speech.

Do you know anyone knows who are the oldest deaf people that are alive?

That's a nice clip. Lillian Beard is famous for being an interpreter in early days and a long time. She is not deaf but a CODA>

I see I am late giving tthis message!

It is not a problem, webexplorer. :)

I knew of a deaf guy who lived until he was 101 years old. His name was John Caple, he was school superintendent of the Arkansas School for the Deaf and later at the Georgia School for the Deaf. He died back in January earlier this year. He would have been 102 years old this Wednesday (the 26th).

You can read more about him: John Caple celebrates 100th birthday.
