Hello, you can call me Cacao! I am from the state of Oregon and an early college student who is hard of hearing - around 60% in one ear, and around 70% in the other. I was born deaf, slowly gained it back, and now I'm gradually losing it. I've always worn hearing aids, and just this year I was diagnosed with auditory processing disorder. I decided to join AllDeaf because I don't really know anyone around my age (16-19) who is hard of hearing nor deaf, though I'd love to meet some! Oh and also, I'm currently studying to become a veterinarian and plan to take ASL in a year or two, since I was never taught it and only know basic signs. And that's my introduction, hopefully I get to make some friends!
