evening all! I realize that this post is over six months old, but I really appreciated the information, as I re-enter the work world (1st job search since being diagnosed as HoH).
Any new ideas or experiences to share regarding job hunting, interviews and asking for accommodations?

I do not have any suggestions for you re:your hearing aid issue. I wanted to express my empathy regarding your feelings about your hearing aids. I 'miss' my hearing aids when I am not wearing them. Thank you for sharing your feelings. God bless.

not chemo; not sure why I have lost hearing... just started noticing in school that I was missing parts of the conversation. Three tests later, they diagnosed "genetic hearing loss". Have to ask more ?s to my audio.
I am in my 40s, losing my hearing and have worn hearing aids since Sep. 2013. Just found this forum and looking forward to getting to know everyone.:angel:
