I don't think they would cost as much and if they are made alongside a hearing aid manufacturer already then they would work with regular hearing and not just iPhone. I am excited about this. Mainly because I used to be able to talk on the phone and now its to hard for me.

If I am understanding this correctly, Apple, Inc. plans to team up with leading Hearing Aid Manufacturers to make hearing aids designed specifically for the iPhone. What are your thoughts on this? Would it be something you would buy, or use for trial? Why for? Let me know. I am very curious...

I agree with Posts From Hell. If you find that "hearing" is not suited for you then put it back in the box and stick it on a shelf or whoever you liked. You only have to wear it if you want to. I wear 1 HA when shopping, 2 HA at work, and normally none at home unless video chat or plan to use...
