I'll keep that in mind. The SLP we are going to see (which is in addition to and coordinating with his SLP through school) works almost exclusively with kids with CI's. They even arrange group playdates/therapy for CI kids.
I see this thread has tangent-ed out into the standard "pro/con CI" and "every other disagreement" people can have thread. Oh well.
I like to believe that we (as parents) always do what we think is best for our children, and that "best" is going to be different for different people...

We've been learning ASL "signs" since we found out our son was deaf. My wife and I plan on taking some formal ASL classes when time permits but for now its just books, websites and Signing Time! dvd's which my kids love.
