G'day fellow AllDeafers!
Queensland Association of the Deaf (QAD) is organising a Deaf Festival to be held in late October this year.
As a member of the Deaf Festival Organising Committee, member of the QAD Board, and Queensland representative for Australian Association of the Deaf's 'Networking Australia's Deaf Youth' program, I have been given the responsibility of organising a Youth program for young Deaf people at the Deaf Festival.
This is my first time at attempting a task like this and as well as having a big responsibility as well.
Many of you have attended Deaf Festival's in your country, and have gained experience, or many of you have had years of experience with young Deaf people.
I ask all of you to help me by giving me ideas, suggestions, etc for activities for young Deaf people at the upcoming Deaf Festival.
All of your help is very much appreciated.
