SEATTLE - She's not naming names, so don't even ask.
Well, I had to: "Can you tell me his name so I can Google him?"
I barely got the question out of my mouth when Janis Spindel said: "Not a chance in China!"
I guess a millionaire from Vancouver, B.C. doesn't have time to search for Mrs. Right on his own, so he's hired New York City matchmaker Janis Spindel to help him find the perfect woman.
"He doesn't want woman who is not a nice person," Spindel said of the mystery suitor. "He wants her to be elegant, athletic, healthy, beautiful inside and out. A fabulous woman."
From now through Wednesday, Spindel's staff at Serious Matchmaking Inc., will interview many women. How many?
'Hundreds!" Janis says. She's searching in Seattle and Vancouver to help find her.
It's no wonder he hired her. Spindel claims she's responsible for 760 marriages.
"And so many babies I brought to the world!" And zero divorces. "To my knowledge," Janis says.
She won't tell us his name but she will reveal the following: The millionaire is a widower in his early 40's. He has an 8-year-old daughter. He's 6 feet 4 inches tall with a full head of hair.
And he's paid over $300,000 to Spindel's company.
