I watched on TV news about mudslide and firestorm where people live on a uphill. (last year)

As for me, I wouldn't want to live on a uphill for a house or apt. Cuz it's not safe for me and you had to take everything out and put it in a car. They had to evacuate everyone out of the house or apt.

I'd rather live on a flat land. but it can be also flooding too. Oh, boy!. but it never happens to me for 15 yrs.
I think mudslide and firestorm are dangerous on a uphill don't you think? So, what do u think?

I was driving going uphill and saw beautiful mansion house on a uphill over there where famous people lives in the valley. mansion house are soooooo expensive and riches!. but I don't need that anyway.

I think that depends entirely on where you live. I live in the midwest where tornados are very common, so living on flat land here is no better than living on a hill. Besides, what are the odds that a house on a hill will get swept away in a mudslide? Not very high odds at all.

Yup, I love to live on uphill, it's fun but don't care about disaster so much.

Reston, VA - My brother lived on flat land near to uphill. He got flood in his basement.
South Seattle - I lived in apt at uphill. Nice view over Washington Lake and Renton Boeing. No problem with any weather.

Right now, we live Northeast. Few times, tornado hit our town. Just few miles away. Also, we had some hurricane or tropical storm. Just big deal. We have insurance for our house.
