ABC 7 News - Work Begins on New Complex at Maryland School for the Deaf

Ground was broken Wednesday in Frederick for a new elementary school and family education building at the Maryland School for the Deaf.

The construction will cost nearly $21 million and the project is expected to take 18 months.

Authorities say the complex will house classrooms, a gym, a cafeteria, an infirmary and family education and early intervention programs.
