Women....who drink too much.....

oh? link?

It was from book my mother read - "Big Natural Medical Encyclopedia". It was written in Russian. I can take picture of it, and you translate it? :hmm:

My mother's friend got psoriasis, and my mom read this book, it has answers, and solutions. My mother asked her friend about alcohol related. The discuss went very well, and her friend also mentioned about doctor telling her not to drink wine everyda, and alcohol may be the factor to cause psoriasis.

Psoriasis means bad skin such as persistent inflammation on skin or rash.

Cirrhosis, as Jillio said, is the right word.

I bet more doctors are not giving liver transplants to alchoholics now because they'd just destroy the donor liver. I heard it has happened to a man in England. I can understand the decision to refuse to implant a liver and whatnot.

I know the difference between cirrhosis, and psoriasis. I am staying with psoriasis. Thank you.

My father's real dad died of cirrhosis from drinking heavily. My mother has cirrhosis from A blood disorder. (Hepatitis C) that she got from a blood transfusion. Her's is spreading slower than the grandfather's I never knew.

I know what you mean. While psoriasis is an inherited disease, other events can bring out the disease in a person genetically predisposed, including drinking alcohol.

My father's drinking was so bad, (he drank daily) from liquor (white lightning), he suffered a stroke in his 40's. He suffered greatly and finally died in his late 50's.

My mother loved Beer and had a "beer belly" to show for it. As for my siblings, it was either liquor or Scotch (straight). One sister does drink more than a 6-pack every evening.

As for me, I stick with Tea/water/sodas. No desire to become an alcoholic or a falling down drunk like my father.....So I feel the best thing to do, in order to supress the desire to drink, is not to drink at all!

I'd like a source that links alcoholism with psoriasis. I can agree with you that alcoholism can lead to many things, but, it's a stretch for me to believe psoriasis is one of them.
