WindowsXP wordpad

I tried to find my wordpad in my computer, surprised me none of that.. I dont know what happen or how long ago its gone..

I checked.. Start, Accessories, nothing in there..

I tried go on windows update.. to see if anything download or something..

I couldnt find.. I need wordpad because to open most of files comes with .doc and i need to write down wordpad..
Umm.. HELP! hehe

Dont need reboot.. I know that we have wordpad for while.. but I havent seen it for while..

I have other stuff in accessories but I mean wordpad isnt there anymore.
I tried to look up the window programs to add/remove.. none of them that i can add wordpad..

I have notepad but it doesnt open .doc

we used to have Mircosoft WordPerfect in window2000 before.. and we would like to download but its BIG download.. and not worth.. all I know that wordpad will works for .doc.... umm..

yes i understand what you meant about the wordpad disappears. that is why i suggest you to reboot it because it will come back after rebooting... trying to reboot wont hurt ur PC. :)

done rebooted..still no wordpad...
I tried to find.. add/remove windows programs or lists... not in there.. I saw character map.. so i added to the list..
alot of missing.. maybe my man unclick somewhere.. i am not going to call him or wait for him.. he wont be home till late tonight..

umm..
 
Report it to the police for the vanishing wordpad, the missing child of your operating system. :lol:

umm..

ok go to START > SEARCH > FOR FILES Or FOLDERS >

click on "all files and folders" then type "wordpad.exe" in search box. it may find a lost one.

THANKS!! but problem is..

I have three wordpad.exe in files..
c:\program files\windows NT\accessories We dont have windows NT? (puzzled)..

c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386 (??)

c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download


umm.. which should i click?

(ponder, obviously that we have window nt in this computer?)

It's because Windows XP is based on Windows NT core, aka Windows 2000. It's stripped down with less features that come from NT in home version, but Windows Xp professional has all the NT features, I'm sure.

your wordpad.exe appeared to be moved to windowNT and you can move it back to c:\windows\programs\accessories\, can you ?

or you can leave it and jsut click on that from now on. it wont hurt.

yea, but ppl like to drag the mouses around on windows and click !.... :dunno: they look for easy lives. :)
 
Ahh there's go solved!

Good.. Anybody who next needy help?

Anybody can help clean my xmas tree up again *mumbling* 3 kitten still foreplay w/xmas balls... :D
