I am so sudden by someone who deaf and aim me about my house!:ugh:

Last year, I was with a deaf student at my college. However, this year she is dropped out college! She was come to my home and help homework and study last fall.

*********************************************

Recently, she aimed me and asked me which one exactly price on my house.

I said.... what she was talking about it?? She explained that she was looking up Yahoo real estate from typing my address there. She sees that my house value estimates 314,100 to 401,350 but at Willow.com said, my house value estimate is 349,000..... She needed to know which one exactly price on my house? ........I told her none of her business and not necessary to tell her what my house exactly price! Then she was kind upset and tells me that I am lying that She finds that website my house s ft sq is 2,072 because I told her that my house is 2000 ft sq. I said so what and no big deal!

I was so figuring out how she knew my address, and then she told me that she got last Christmas card.

ALL OF YOU... Careful what you send your address with Christmas cards to not know who those people then people will looking up your property!!! :ugh:

I just explained with my best friend for 35 years.. she own her home worth 1 million dollars and told her about careful etc.. but she laugh and said I am too much worrier? :squint:

Consequently, I felt that yahoo and willow given out too much information???, or I am overreaction? :hmm:

PSSTT... After that I am looked up at willow and yahoo websites...with my another friend and family' s addresses!! Wow interesting info! but one of them umm told me that her house worth 300K but I looked up websites and said her house value est. 195K??? so anyway

Well, that is public information. Even you used that information to look up house values. Not a big deal but, yes, people need to be careful about giving out names and addresses online. I worried about that a little bit when we exchanged Christmas cards......

yep just use your judgement and be wise.... nothing is safe nowadays... sigh..

Unfortunately, all real estate information is public information. Even if you didn't find what you were looking for online, you can go to any county property tax assessor's office and get all the information you want, including the sale history and purchase price, current owner's names, and property taxes. I hate that this information is public, but that's what it is.
