My husband emailed me an article about Red Cross having been caught redistributing funds that were meant for 9/11 disaster relief, Oklahoma City bombing relief, Red River Flooding relief, 2004 Tsunami relief, etc, to their "Liberty Fund" - funding war efforts. I don't know what that's about, except the website (where article came from) seems to have conspiracy theories. It is true that I don't trust the politics in administration of major organizations where money is concerned AND conspiracy theories, but I am willing to be wrong. How can we do more research on this claim? (I added more sources, other than the conspiracy theory website)

The Claim: Source

From Wall Street Journal, has more credibility with me: Source

There's always a problem with conspiracy about everythin' in politic. It's very hard to trust anyone in that matter. Sad, huh ?

I don't see why can't we the people and the other countries help people who are in crisis like this with food cans and material things like clothings and so forth instead of sendin' the money ?? Why money ??

When I walked in the grocery store the other day, I saw a bucket that said for Katrina Relief Cross.... I feel funny about givin' out the money in that bucket. I just followed my instinct tellin' me that it was not right.
