Let's say that you argue with your boy or girlfriend. You miss first 15 minutes of your high school prom. You still go and end up enjoying the prom with your boy and girlfriend.

What if you were arguing long and hard. You miss first 3 hours of your prom. What is the point of going to prom now?

See, NFL missed only one game. That was the Hall of the Fame game and that is it.

Who knows if we'll have a NBA season? Is there a point in trying to have a NBA season now?
 
I've lost a lot of interest in NBA. NFL was able to work out their difference in off season. NBA is willing to sacrifice a whole season to show up players.

I go to prom to get laid afterwards.
 
players are still ask for too much $$$. I'm glad that NFL is finally put minimum salary on rookie players. Before that, it was out of control and rookie didn't play that well or hard as thought so.

Only few rookies are worth their salary. Ask Ryan Leaf or JeMarcus Russell whether they deserved their salary. Sam Bradford was lucky to cash in. Cam Newton has not been able to get astronomical salary.
