Why does women have bad names but not men??

Hey you gals! This is something that has always
bothered me and im sure it has you wondered and
maybe bothered you too....

My question is:....Why does females have such terrible
names like sluts, whores, hos, or worse but not MEN
when they commit same sin??? They are not even looked
down, condemned, pointed at, gossiped about unlike
women! If a woman commited adultery, or is a prostitute,
she is called something awful but if a man do the same
thing, he is not called any bad name, is he? nope!
completely not fair!!
In case you are not sure what im talking about...you just
dont call a man "slut", or "whore" right? so if he commit
the same kind of sin, what in the world do you call him?? LOL!
I realize it is silly but still...............
what does the word "bastard" mean? I know it is for men but really
what does it mean? care to discuss this?

bastard..that is a constant word we hear all the time like
everyday, on TV and outside world, i even call that to
my husband (oops)..LOL! so it sounds worse than that, you
know what i mean?
 
What i really mean is that women is looked down worse than
men, like they are lower than dirt, when men commit the
same sin, so really men are no better than women, heh!
Society is like that, they treat women like dirt when they commit
bad sins but men is just as bad too, but they dont treat men
bad so why the difference???:squint:

I think it has to do with women over thousands of years has been treated like low class, so that's why there are a lot of foul words to label women.

It may be because men wanted to control who made babies with women and wanted them to have their own babies, not with other men, to be sure power stays in their family.

I don't think women are weak at all, it's ther insdinct to be soft hearted compared to men, basically mom in nature.
 
It still dont make sense for women to be called terrible
or labeled terrible names when men commit the very
same sins..thats all im saying. Its just not fair for the
women. After all, we, women and men are equals as
human beings, am i right?

No need to apologize.

A society determines what is considered to be acceptable behavior for its male members and what is considered to be accpetable behavior for it female members. When the majority of society accepts these standards, they become the norm for that society.

Hisotrically, we have delegated women to subservient roles, and males to dominant roles. That has carried over into our ideas about sexual behavior.

It's not fair that women make 70 cents on the dollar to men's pay for doing the same job, either, but it is just more evidence of the double standard created by society.

I just wish they don't treat women shit as women gave us children, gave men sex, gave men love, gave men everything and yet they give them shit. That's very wrong.

And we punish those women who do not fall into that nurturing role by calling them unacceptable names. We also punish men who do not fall into the masculine role as determined by social norms by calling them unacceptable names.

So, women should be paid more than men *shrugs* Women are entered in a lot of careers that women do better on the job than men in general. Life isn't fair, eh?
