I browsed looking for something to
make Tuna Fish Pasta noodles with
celery something like that..

BUT, I realize there are 2 different
kinds of Tuna Fish cans
1) Solid white tuna fish
2) Chunk tuna fish

I like to eat tuna fish sandwich
ONLY from Tuna fish "Solid white" type
with hellman mayo.

BUT, with tuna fish casseroles is this
better to use a can of "Chunk" tuna fish
OR "Solid White" tuna fish for Casseroles ONLY ?

I looked at many receipes they always
mentioned "tuna fish", but they almost NEVER
specifiy "Solid White" or "Chunk" tuna fish.

Which kind of tuna goes well with this Tuna Macroni Salad ????
Solid White tuna OR Chunk Tuna ?

Look example here:

Tuna Macroni Salad

1 (12 ounce) package elbow macaroni
1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped sweet onion
1 (10 ounce) can baby peas, drained
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
salt and pepper to taste
3 hard-cooked eggs, quartered
1 pinch paprika, for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
Add the macaroni, and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
Drain and rinse under cold running water.

In a large bowl, stir together the macaroni, tuna, celery, onion and peas.
Mix in the mayonnaise, relish, salt and pepper.
Garnish with egg wedges and a sprinkle of paprika.
Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

<---- avivd tuna eatter.. lol

well actually. they are all same..

chuck and solid... just like chuck pieces and solid pieces..
when you open the can.. put in bowl.. mix up with mayo or dressing.. it will break up easy..

same concept but different about.. tuna with oil in can.. or tuna with water.. i always prefer tuna with water for cold salad or sandwiches.
if planned casserole or cooking.. i use tuna with oil so i dont need to add oil .. since it has flavored oil (from tuna). :)

i hope i do make sense hehe

By the way,
the easy tuna salad.. i tend to make for my family and some occasions to

1- pkg ring noodles... cooked.. then drain with cold water..

1- can tuna
1- can peas (small can or orginal can) your choice.
3 scoops of mayo or miracle whip.. (i use miracle whip)

2 sticks of celery.. mince chopped..
pepper to taste

put in salad bowl and let refridge for couple hours before serve for better taste but can serve right away..
