Ladies and gentlemen ! I am curious about which method you do to maintain beauty when it comes to eyebrows, upperlip and chin hair removal.

I really like threading which is better for me than waxing. I am aware not many areas do threading. In my area its very popular and trendy.

I don't know what threading is.

Tweezing eyebrows works for me.

I always used the tweezing eye brows. im an old fashion.,

how did you do with threading? i d like to give it a try!!! but it seems too hard for me to handle the threading???

Threading can be done in a beauty institute... I only go for waxing my eyebrows and that's about it :D

I go to the salon to have it done. There is a very popular place all over the south land in California. Celebrities have on in the shop its called
http://www.zibabeauty.com/beauty/ Gwen Stephani ( singer, No Doubt) has been recognized there.

It looks like it pulls out the root by pressing down with thread?

Is it painful?

At least tweezing is one little hair at a time. {I am a little cowardly]

A long time ago, a co-worker told me about this place. I was a chicken at first , the result was very nice and shape the eyebrows nicely. She's Indian and it was something new to me that was in 1994 (hole in the wall) wow, this place expanded and grew rapid.

*NOTE* My poll didn't show up?

I went to the bathroom. i used the regular threading that is used for sewing. So i tried it on the above of my eyebrows. they work well! but i couldnt do bottom of the eyebrows.

i learned NEW one thing today! :yay:

jeez.. it looks complicated. Ha ha ha.. I don't know how to use this threading I never have experience before. I prefer using the same old thing for the eyebrow tweezer a lot easier.

sorry heheh

how long have you been doing with the threading? i never heard of it until you mentioned it.

I started in 1994, at Ziba's when it was a very unknown place  Now, its spread out and expanded all over here. I did try waxing at those small nail salons, I notice my skin got bumpy so, I stopped and switched to Threading.

You are brave to do it yourself with the sewing thread :) It does look complicated. I just pay to have it done in 3 places eyebrows , upper lip and chin it costs me $20.00 not bad.

They offer threading in the middle of the malls here. I am curious, but not brave enough to try it yet. Waxing works for me and it's not too expensive to have done.

I have heard of threading a while back ago and I am quite curious to give it a try. Unfortunately, there's not a place around here that does threading.

So, I always got to have my eyebrows waxed. I'd tweeze it from time to time but I find that waxing the eyebrows are much easier for me.

I've been doing the eyebrow waxing thing since I was a teenager and it doesn't bother me one bit at all. :)

Seems like waxing is so much easier and quicker.

I tweeze in between waxing.

i get my eyebrows done.
i prefer threading than waxing...it is quicker, less painful, cheaper and lasts longer.

to be honest, sewing is not working as it goes smooth, but it works. :giggle: Going to the saloon is recommended due to the proper threading. ha If i happen to have a proper threading at home, i would like to practice on it.

it is a difficult job to do it yourself. tweezing is the easiest job to do it myself. ha thanks for sharing about the threading.
