Where you stop n eat when traveling on highway when on vacation?

When traveling on highway or interstate where you stop to eat.

I stop ether at Shoneys or at Dennys
 
During outing trips, we use our own sandwiches, drinks, etc as picnic. We ate our own sandwiches at autobahn park place. We stopped at at Mac Donald or Italian Resturant on our way to home from trips.
 
I usually stop by at fast food restaurants when I'm on a road trip for long distances. Sometimes, I bring some of our own food or drink to consume in the car also.
 
Depend on where you are going to. Sometimes I go for fast food, sometimes I bring my own lunch & drink. If LONG trip, I will bring my own food to save money and time..I'll stop for gas and potty then on to go. Maybe grab one or two snacks if you are craving something.
 
Usually stop at Exit 73 in Wytheville, VA and we eat at Shoney's.. That place always BUSY when it comes travelers...
 
When we are on vacation, we don't like to eat at familiar places like we have at home. We like to try something different, especially the places that have "home-made" food but we also must be careful when in a strange place. I usually check online before we go. Another way to do this is to ask some of the local people who know best where good eats are.
