I am 30 today, and I have limited resources and funds to enjoy a good day today. Any ideas?

Hope you have a good day whatever you decide to do!

Thanks for that. I was actually looking for affordable ideas under $10 or so.

You could go to the Art Museum for a walk and look around.

Lincoln Park Zoo is free and have great Christmas decorations up!

Navy Pier? Good place to spend the day walking & looking around. The Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows is free.

Navy Pier..... now that's a thought. In fact, I know something there I've always wanted to buy, but I doubt I have enough for it.... it's one of the locos from the Children's Musuem, as I love locos (locos as in locomotives).

Exactly!! I was thinking both the Zoo and Navy Pier. Free admission!!!

Hey, Happy Birthday to you!! Welcome to the 30-something club. Happy to have you with me as a member :).

:wave:Happy Birthday!

Reading the ideas reminds me of my dad, who grew up in Chicago and has lots of memories of those places.

I went to Lincoln Park Zoo for college Bio class field trip and that was cool.

Sometimes specialized universities and colleges have free exhibits or art galleries.
