I haven't been to church in two months ... i just don't have any motivation to go, and i think its because im sick and tired about what they preach... most of it is alittle self rightous and they're the type of church that thinks their bible is more factual then any other religions. Just going there has made me doubt god so many times when i know hes real .. at least to me. I don't want to feel distant anymore .. i keep listening to "only one" by yellowcard because thats i feel about God ..

Whats the point of going to church when you can just worship God in your own home... i'm coming to find out i'm more of a spiritual person then religious.

but i still am so confused i don't know what to do.
 
Well, in my opinion, you don't have to worship God in a church. Afterall, God is everywhere so why shouldn't you be able to worship him wherever you like.

I don't like going to church since as child but had to until I was 17. I find it preferable to do my own thing at home or in the car etc.
 
Just follow your heart and whatever your heart says, go for it!
 
I understand exactly how you feel...my father is a preacher...I grew up in church...

I've seen so many hypocristes (sp?) these days...sadly, I noticed there are some *true christians* has been burned or hurt by the church so they dont attend church...and some *true* pharisees/hypocrite people goes to church! Isn't that odd?

Anyway, I didn't attend to church for 2 years because I was deeply hurt by the deaf community...so now, I am slowly going back to church.

I believe it is very important to attend church...reasons? 1). fellowship 2). listen to God's Word that feeds our spiritual lives..3). help each other for our foundation...Church is like our hospital...we grow and serve the Lord...

I don't think you have found the right church for you..perhaps you could try to search for churches and find what you feel to fit in..:dunno:

i think if i do go back to church i might try a methodist church

im not going to say what kind of church i was going to because i don't want to offend people who are that religion
 
I don't know what advice to give to you... I haven't really found a church I think I would be comfortable with...
 
For long time I usually fell asleep at the previous church
very boring for me I gave up went to that church
but i went to a different bible study group
They told me I went to a wrong kind of church
not suitable for me so they prayed for me
to a find a right church Then, good enough a week
later i bumped into an old friend at a grocery store
that i have not seen her for a long time
She invited me to go to her church then I knew
it was from the Lord choosing the right kind
of church for me ! I showed up there on Sunday
and she saw me there crying tears with Joy.
Awesome !
 
Preaching is rather easy then, implementing ur own words. Well I dnt believe in father or anybody. I do go to church but that once in a year.

Im not religious, but yet believe in all religion at the same follow them. But I strongly believe GOD is everywhere, in u, in ur deeds.

Just respect urself & others that’s where GOD exists.
