Hi ALL!!! What do you think about Milan? In my opinion, Milan is very stylish city. I went to Milan on a 5 day visit in August 2005. This was my first visit to Milan and I had a great time there. I stayed at excellent hotel in the center city, which I found on the 1st-milan-hotels.com web page. I got to walk on the roof of the Duomo and saw all the way to the mountains. On Via Montenapoleone I found a lot of prestigious boutiques. Milan is the city where the world famous italian design is born and still lives: you'll find here not only the glamorous fashion showrooms, but the history of industrial design. And if you like such kind of thing, April is a wonderful month: with the Furniture Fair all the city is open for designers exibitions and happenings. So what?

Eh bene... I have never been to Milano, but I have heard a lot of things about the city. I think if I had only a few days in Italy, I would rather visit Venezia, Firenze and Roma, but that is my own preference. I visited Venezia, Firenze, Bologna and Pisa and it was very interesting. Maybe on next visit to Italy I'd include Milano. One thing for sure, Torino is a very difficult city to drive around! I got lost there on the autostrade.

Yes, I heard about Milano but we never try Milano since we visited to Italy dozen of times. We would love to go there one day.

It's shame that 5 days is too short for your vacation on your way from America to Europe. What do you think?

I can't remember what Milan looks like until I search my holiday snapshot to refresh my memory, as it is only cathedral in Milan as it is. Nothing excited as compared to Firenze (Florence), Pisa Rome and Bari, it is more memorable visit in my point of view.

Bon voyage to you :)
