Full Time American Sign Language Interpreter
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right person. The position requires an intelligent, high energy, highly motivated individual who is able to work well both independently and with a team. The primary duties will be to provide excellent interpreting services for a Deaf professional in all aspects of his daily interactions, both professional and personal. Current certification is prefered but not manditory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to interpret effectively, accurately and impartially both receptively and expressively.
· Ability to maintain high professional standards in compliance with the Code of Professional Conduct.
· Exhibit professionalism and demonstrated knowledge of business contexts, structure and management with an ability to learn new terms and adapt to a variety of signing styles.
· Ability to travel frequently with the flexibilty to adapt to various modes and catagories of transportation.
· Demonstrated sensitivity to a diversity of language, culture, religions and geographic locations.
· Embrace a high work ethic and be flexible with schedule.
· Able to live in India for more than one year.
EMPLOYMENT PACKAGE:

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right person. The position requires an intelligent, creative and motivated self starter who is able to work with a team to develop a successful program of Sign Language studies. The primary duties will be to teach ASL to family members and employees of Om Metals Infraprojects Ltd. Additional responsibilities will include interpreting and recruiting and training potential interpreters from the local population.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to interpret effectively, accurately and impartially both receptively and expressively.
· Ability to maintain high professionalism and demonstrated knowledge of business contexts, structures and management with an ability to learn new business models.
