I have a 5 year old girl whom is partially deaf. Her hearing is currently further worsened by fluids on her ear drums, and it will be several months before they are willing to put in a drain. In the meantime, it is very scary to walk around with her when she's not holding my hand. She also has ADHD, so she doesn't pay attention to her surroundings, despite my best attempts to teach her to look around at all times.
I had an idea the other day, about giving her a bracelet or necklace that vibrates when I click a button on a remote. This is purely to get her to stop immediatly and pay me attention so I can talk to her.
Does such a thing exist? The only thing I found was an expired foundraiser that described my idea perfectly, but it was an old foundraiser that was a failure. I have looked around here in norway too, but can't find much here. Any ideas are very much welcome!
