These days we have to find jobs that have many requirement. Many people dream to be fireman, teacher, lawyer, doctor, or other...
I wanted a clerical job, but I can't cause I have some skills.
Marriage and having a good family seem so
Unrealistic because most marriage are not good and it is hard work to have a normal family.

The only realistic thing is people can own their businesses, be actors, and stuff. Because you don't need many requirements for that. Especially if we people who have disabilities.
 
Umm...I am not sure what direction you want this thread to go into. It sounds like you are just being pessmisstic - it is not about being unrealistic but rather pessimisstic. Maybe you are having a down moment but please do not think that you have no chance to find a job or get married, or whatnot.

Attitude does play a huge role. Keep your chin up and you will get what your heart desire.
 
It's possible to have good marriage & raise family - you just need to find a right person for yourself.

Anything can be possible if you put enough efforts to learn skills & take classes, etc... as long as deafness doesn't get in the way.

Thank you for replying. Yeah it seems I am pessimistic and have bad attitude. I am staying at my uncle's house.... And my uncle and aunt are almost married for 50 years. And I don't know how my uncle can put up with my aunt's weird attitude. And they told me that they didn't buy each valentine's day gifts, they said their romance is gone. And I never seen them hug together, especially during their daughter's funeral. And they don't sleep together.
What kind of marriage is that?
Yeah I do need to keep my chin up and be positive finding job.
 
They got faith for each other and stick to each other. Need not to try to prove all the time.
As right now, I am in between jobs. I am working hard to SELL myself. Tell ya this, if you don't move your ass like me, you won't generate any responses like I did. I got response and turned down an offer! I used to start with dishwashing job at Pizza Hut, and this landed me better job 4 years ago. I just left my job 6 weeks ago, and am looking for better job, and will take the lousy job if this leads to better job.
The magic thing that you get what to be what you want to be is what? This FIRST step of ladder! If you refused to take this first step of this ladder, trust me, you will NEVER be up where you want to be.

It is not easy being an actor. It is hours of training and hard work. Most of the time, acting does not pay off for many people. The ones who make it are the ones who already worked their asses off.
 
Work hard, by socialize with people and volunteering and sell yourself and work at low income jobs. That is what I hear all the time. So I will do that now. Thank you.

The decision is made between them alone, at least they are still together under the same roof.

They don't want to exchange Valentine gifts which suit them the best, if not happy, they should talk to their spouse instead not you.

People dealing with their grief in many different ways as we don't expect them to be the same.

who said anything in life IS easy?? NOTHING in life is easy.. everything in life requires hard work no matter what...

erm...then WHY do they still live together?

besides, relationships are indeed tons of hard work...and heck, I was a victim of this stuff! lol...I rushed things too fast with my girl and we end up fighting about alot of things and then I broke up with her but then changed my mind and wanted her back...and then she said she has to think about it...and then she broke up with me! but said that she thinks it's proably best if we just go as friends, just to slow things down between us and all, so she's my best friend and I'm still in love with her and all, so we still are doing okay as friends so far.

so sometimes it's just better to have a friend than to be in a relationship where it would indeed be difficult and someone try to control you and stuff like that...I wouldn't like that lol I wouldn't ever try to control her either lol
