A mentally disabled man was harassed by TSA agents as a possible terrorist on Wednesday night.

Drew Mandy, a 29 year old with the brain capacity of a two year old was harassed and had is toy hammer taken away as a possible weapon.

“Dr. Mandy claimed they asked Drew to place his feet on the yellow shoe line, something he didn’t understand. They proceeded to pat his pants down, questioning the padding which was his adult diapers. When the agents asked Drew to take his hand and rub the front and back of his pants so they could swab it for explosives, his dad stepped in and tried to explain that Drew was mentally challenged”, reported Fox News Detroit.

This is the full scale breakdown of the American will and spirit. These goons are openly harassing women, children, and the disabled while at the same time NEVER catching a real terrorist.

It is time for ALL Americans to demand their local representatives follow the lead of Texas and move to outlaw this outright criminal behavior.

Not cool. I always feel like I need a shower everytime I go through the security at the airport. They do offer a female but it doesn't make a difference to me.
 
missy I can't see how you can let them touch you. I would throw the biggest fit over it.
 
This is a direct result of people buying into that fear that the politicians played on to grab votes. They demanded something be done. When something got done, they decided maybe they didn't want anything done after all.

Bush legacy. Let's thank everyone that said "Gotta put Bush in for a second term so he can protect us from the terrorists!" feel How do you feel about that vote you cast now?
 
It was never a big deal to me.... everybody is different though

I remember when young women with Down syndrome were being used as human bombs.
 
I think its out of control!

If its illegal for people on the streets to touch you, the law still should apply with anyone. The law is written there to protect us.

There are cases of children, disabled people, women, even men getting felt up and I can't believe its gone on for this long.

Wait... actually I can, why? because people let them and give into fear. Just my 2 cents.

Put in policy as a result of the "terrorist fear" he created in order to manipulate votes for that second term. Unfortunately, many still hold onto that fear that we are surrounded, 24/7 with terrorists. He started something he could not stop...a mindset. People demanding that we protect our airspace; protect our commercial flights, etc. Then when policies are getting put in place that inconvenience them, it's all about...wait, I didn't mean me! I meant all those suspicious looking people.

Absolutely. People want protection until it inconveniences them personally. This is the price that gets paid.

Doesn't matter......Obama is the reason people are getting felt up. He let it happen. Guess he wasn't a very strong man if he felt this policy was wrong and didn't stop it

Here's a difference - there is a law that protects you from "UN-CONSENTED" physical contact. but in this case.... at airport - the policy is there for all to read and it explained the security screening procedure. When you enter the line for security screening, you automatically consented to it.

You don't like it? Choose alternative way to travel. and..... contact your constituent to express your complaint. If more and more people are not flying and are complaining about it... something will change. Until then... nothing's going to change...

People want to feel safe, thanks to the fear mongering of the Repubs. This is the result.

and renewed Patriot Act.... and pushed for 2-years extension for FBI Director (it's currently limited to 10 years by law)
