The Send-A-Brick Project was created by concerned citizens to send bricks to Washington encouraging our Congressmen to stand tough on border security.

Each brick sends a message to our Senators and Representatives that we want our borders secured before any other action is taken on illegal immigration.

I am gonna do my American duty and send a brick.

Heath, you are not so smart for sending the small red brick.

What's wrong with this concrete block? It is bigger than freking red brick.

It is easier to ship a brick in the mail than that one plus when they see all those bricks from 5 million Americans, They will have no excuse and have to build the fence with the help of the U.S. Army Engineers and military guard patrols.

OH boy,

The newspaper readers in my old hometown agrued over the immgraition issues.

Send 'em home

I'm mad. Not just a little bit mad but real mad at our neighbors to the south. They wave their "home" country flag, wear their flag on their clothes, even hang it in the front of their houses.

They eat foods from their "home," and wear clothes like they wore back where they came from. I wish they would go back there.

I have heard them speak their foreign gibberish, especially the older ones. They are trying to turn the whole town into a foreign country.

If they want to live in America, they should act American. I think Congress ought to write legislation to send those people from (Kansas) and their lukfisk and lingonberries back to where they came from.

Don't even get me started about those Germans.

Wrong people targeted

I am a Mexican, born in the United States. My parents were born here and so were my grandparents. So this makes me a terrorist, huh? Are Mexicans the ones who destroyed the Twin Towers? I don't think so. Did we blow up the Oklahoma City building? I believe an American did that -- one who was also trained by the United States Army.

Why are we being punished then? Why is it that my little brother can fight for the United States but is still being punished for being Mexican?

I thought the government was against racism in the U.S. Well, guess what? This is racism. What does this mean for my kids? Their mother is white, so they will be punished, too. They are innocent little kids; what have they done to you?

Come, let's talk cultures

This is in response to the Michael W. letter attacking the good citizens of Lindsborg: And where does your family come from, Mr. Michael W.? Unless you are an American Indian you are no different from those you claim anger you.

I, being an American Indian -- a Cherokee -- may make the same claim, and an even stronger one, than yours. Everyone except American Indians -- indigenous peoples -- is an immigrant or illegal alien, so you should all be sent "home."

As for the foreign "gibberish," what exactly do you think the English language is comprised of -- foreign gibberish? The English language has one mother, German, and many, many fathers -- Latin, Greek, Balto/Slavic and too many others to list.

How, exactly, does one act American? By lambasting others? By illegally invading a country and stealing traditional homelands? By decimating hundreds of indigenous cultures and subjugating them to "reservations" ( a very clever euphemism for prisoner-of-war camps)? By then taking those decimated peoples and iconizing them on the sides of football helmets and the fronts of baseball jerseys? If, sir, that is the case, then you must be a true red-necked, blooded American.

And it's lutfisk.

Fly your flags, Kansasan. Speak your "gibberish." Eat your lutfisk. Bring some over to my house sometime; we can share cultures and you can try some of my Indian tacos. This same offer is also extended to my German neighbors.

Don't bother. Some congresspeople will be glad to take the blocks for their house for free no matter what. Both parties do not give a damn about us. It is too tricky to believe their story. It is more important for us to give to we give it to poor people or special group. Jimmy Carter did help a lot of people.

Hmm, I would NOT like this idea about these Congresspeople
keep these blocks for themselves.

Yes I wish all of these bricks should go directly to
Jimmy Carter and his organization... Sigh... I haven't been
able to keep up-to-date about Jimmy Carter's incoming projects though...

sounds like a good way to waste your money on postage.
