I love-tap good friends' derrieres!

I especially throaty-hug good friends.

It's a little TOO secret, I guess. I never see it.

I only handshake when it would be rude not to.

Hug close family and friends.

I've seen some guys doing the hug-handshake thing for a long time now.

I give hugs to my friends and family. If it is just a random stranger - it depends on the situation. Most of the time, I'd give a handshake to a stranger.

I have seen this kind of handshakes on T.V. whether it is a movies or situation comedies. It is a way to express themself like it is cool kind of altitude. I think it is part of Black or maybe the white way to greet another male to handshake and sometimes they do hug while doing that. :dunno: In real life I don't remember seeing the guys doing this. All I remember is mostly in the movies or comedies. :hmm:

I've never done a hug-handshake, but I do notice a trend in the "hugging" portion of social interaction. Many people are hugging me instead of hand-shaking (well, not at work, but in casual environments) where it feels like just a few years ago, a handshake would have been expected. People seem to be becoming more casual and friendly. I don't mind it at all. It seems to break the ice faster.

I only smooch on both cheeks and sometime to do the huggies. To meet the strangers I don't do anything except saying "nice to meet u".

I see this all the time, especially at casual work places such as a factory or small buisness.

A decade ago, no guy would ever be caught dead hugging another guy unless they were an openly gay couple or they were blood brothers that had not seen each other for quite some time.

Now I see it everywhere, all over Uni, Wal-Mart, wherever.

Maybe the guys felt left out of not getting hugs so they decided to start this?
