RUN EXTENDED: In Berkeley Rep news closer to home, the company has again extended the run of its hit, "The Glass Menagerie," featuring Rita Moreno.
The Tennessee Williams play will run Tuesdays-Sundays though July 2, which adds a total of 10 additional performances to the schedule, and adds a bit more ticket availability for the almost-sold-out show.
Tickets, at $45-$59, may be reserved at 510-647-2949 or www.berkeleyrep.org.
In addition, the June 9 production of "Glass Menagerie" will be offered with a translation into American Sign Language for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Tickets for this performance are available at the usual Friday night price, $53. A $26.50 ticket is offered for anyone under 30 who is deaf or hard of hearing. For ticket calls using the California Relay Service, dial 711 and ask to be connected to 510-647-2949
