The Android Hero and TTY...

Hi,

I am not deaf but I am hard of hearing and would like your help regarding Android cellphones with TTY. I have the Hero. How can I use this feature?

Can I call to and receive calls to a TTY phone? Any help would be appreciated.
 
I would like an explanation too. There is nothing wrong with text relay but that is not the question.

Sorenson is "real-time" thru AIM and it's pretty quick to me. So I said TTY and sorenson text are around 5 seconds different. Its not big deal to me.

I suggest you try on mysorenson.com it's pretty fast than other text relay that I know so far.

Lol, I used to have a TTY like this one but didn't have cell phone support. It was a first generation model with blue color instead of grey on the keyboard shelf.

Gosh, Too much to carry on. Pain in the ass. Forget TTY. I prefer all in one cell like HTC EVO or Upcoming new Samsung Galaxy.

cell already included texting/IMs/email but why TTY?. Silly!.
