Is this a good website? Are there a lot of people on it?
 
Sign up and find out...I left that site because this asshole kept questioning the validity of my photograph and my age and leaving obnoxious comments and the admin wouldn't do anything because he was a longtime member. I even offered to befriend him on facebook so he could see for himself that yeah, I do look like that at age 40. It was a very rude welcome to tagdeaf. That combined with being contacted by extraoridinarily horny men who seemed to think I was there for sex only and I just said "F**k this, I'm gone."

It was the same photo as my avatar here on AD - it was taken two years ago by my son.

Hey! Shocked to hear about this...pls. PM me and let me know who that "asshole" was...I've got an idea but would like some validity...

It's sooo wrong that the mods did not ban him, no matter how long he had been there....and 2 of the Mods over there are here at AD!

As far as TD...it's pretty dead around there now. Used to be a "fun" site,,,*sigh*
 
I am trying really hard to remember - I do know that he used the American flag as his avatar...he kept leaving comments on my guestbook like "that's your photo....hmmmmm" or "is that what you really look like? put up a current photo" etc etc. It's stupid. Oh! Just checked my email inbox - i will msg you.
 
And by the way, if anyone wants to know what I look like right now - look for "tincancompany" on youtube, you will find me. And yes, i know, my ASL sucks right now, working on that!

and no your ASL doesn't suck. At least you didn't sign like one of those ASL-1 students at my community college :lol:

I am sorry that you had such a bad experience there. You were not the person only who got prejudiced on looks and age. I almost often experienced the similar experience when people thought or insisted that I looked like 50s or 60s thanks to my premature white hair.
 
Caroline, I just viewed your youtube and your ASL skill looks real good to me. :)
