a thought I had based on the audist language in so many things and the current threads on discrimination-
what if there was a group exercise in a community where you took a bunch of hearing parents and maybe teens and had them go to school at a Deaf school for a day ....to see how it is to be in a world that may be perceived as very different from their own, to see how it feels to be on the "outside" looking in...an exercise as part of Early Intervention services or something...I was just pondering
