Summer's Song

I stand here and listen
To a summer's lullaby
Seagulls call to one another
The beautiful ocean so calm and soothing
I free myself from my sandals
And bury my feet into the sand
My toes explored its warmth
My honey brown eyes stares
At the ocean's beauty before me
Wanting to catch some waves
I walk towards the tide
The cool water welcomed my feet
I rushed quickly and dive into it
And felt the relief of the ocean
Standing up, I feel a chill breeze
This is how summer should be!
Back to the blanket I sit and rest
my eyes on the ocean
