BLIND, partly blind and deaf adults will have the chance to be educated with the introduction of new multimedia learning material launched in Durban yesterday.
The material was developed by Media Works and is in Braille and sign language, enabling people to acquire numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to grade 9. A feature of the programme for the blind is that it allows for self-paced audio learning.
Material is accessed via an MP3 player or a CD player that can play MP3s
