We live in a 2 story townhouse and a few months ago, I started doing sprints or "runs" everytime I go up the stairs to go to the bedrooms, the bathrooms, or just for the heck of it. Well, I have lost like 5 pounds and I noticed my legs are getting firmer. I dont do sets of them daily..just every time I need to go upstairs. Some days, I just do sets until I am tired if I have nothing to do. Just wanted to share with u if u dont have time or money to go to the gym or cant work outside due to bad weather. If u have stairs, do that everytime u go up and down the stairs, it is better than nothing. Just wanted to share with u a simple and inexpensive exercise tip.
My friend lives in an one story home so whenever she comes over, she starts to breathe hard by the time she reaches the top of the stairs. I didnt realize that by having stairs or more than 1 floor, it really makes a difference as far as staying more fit if not totally fit.
If u decide to do that, remember to check with your dr if u havent been exercising in a long time. I exercise from time to time so this wasnt an issue.
