I thought this issue would be interesting to discuss about your opinions since most of us are deaf.

Okie. Once you become a parent of baby. There are numerous reasons why either Deaf mommy or Deaf Daddy to stay home in order to watch baby at home.

OK, How do you feel that either Deaf mommy or Deaf Daddy are receiving SSDI or SSI once kids start to go to school. Then the deaf parent returns to work. Even the parent is really FINE except their deafness.

What do you think of this?

Your opinion should be interesting.

THANKS.

Hmm...well, if one parent returns back to the workforce while the other becomes a stay at home parent with the baby, then that shouldn't be a problem with the stay home parent to receive SSDI or SSI because he/she is taking care of the baby at home. Can do maybe a part time job that doesn't require in leaving home at all.
It depends on each family's set up...whether can go back to work full time and be able to afford child care outside the house or not. :dunno:
