A couple of days before I left to go on my hunting trip, a forum member (from a different forum I am a member on) was getting shot at in a compound he was working at in South Sudan. He posted a video of a tank being escorted by armed soldiers. All of the occupants of the compound he was in were behind fortified walls. He is not a soldier, a private American contractor. The day it started, he posted updates. He was eventually flown out by a Russian cargo plane that came in to help the evacuation.
Now, the US Marines are being sent in:

Do we really need to get involved in another nation's civil war? Anytime we send in armed troops to help the evacuation - there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff we will never know about.
