I was wondering if anyone knows of a phone that has any kind of visual sound indicator. What I mean by that is when the other person that you are talking to on the phone speaks you'll have some kind of visual ay of knowing they are talking or making sounds. I used to have a Pocket VCO that did this and it was very helpful. If you go to the link above and look at the picture you'll see a little dot on the front of the device on the left (Just below the darker blue area). This has a small light inside and the light would get brighter the louder the sound was.
How this is helpful when making VCO calls or now when making webCapTel calls is knowing them they are speaking. For example when they answer the phone I often read "Hello... Hello.. Hello" as the first words the relay operator sends me. This means it took a few seconds for me to read it on my screen while the operator sent the text to me. This can sometimes lead to them hanging up on me before the conversation even begins. But if I could "see" when they answer then I'll now when to start talking. It's also helpful in the middle of a conversation so I know when they are or aren't talking.
So I was wondering if any of you know of any phone or device that might work for this purpose.
