who has sling media slingbox ? if you do, how is it with CC ? i tried to research on that to see if CC works with that, but i could not find enough information about that.

i think it is really cool to have that, but i am just concerned about CC issue.

Deafclimber , You might want to contact Gallaudet University or NTID and ask to see what they have to say and ask which Deaf website of some kind keeps track of new stuff like CC and things like that. I am still struggling to get CC on my own personal computer in Windows Media Player and Quicktime. I even sent an email and no response back yet??? :type: :cool:
 
i just found out more information while ago... there is no CC if you get slingbox. i learned that from deaf cnet.com member.

do not buy sling media slingbox. unless if you dont care about CC and just want to watch sports, then go for it.

yea i know that... it sucks.. i saw VERY few videos with CC online.
 
Yeah and the Gallaudet TV I think BisonTV is giving Deaf people a bad name ... with the jokes I saw on there in additon to normal college tv news should be fine??? When you have a University tv channel then it is supposed to be professional and present clean positive image and good acting smart communication with strong educational skills obivously present on the university channel and as for the CC I tried to find explaination of CC but it seems they only do CC in Gallaudet and won't explain how to get CC on your own personal computer. I thought that isn't right....plus they are not too clear explaining on CC I am still confused. I am going to have to really give NTID a try with serious e-mail asking and see what happens on their search engine too in depth. You know how to put CC on personal computer?
