A 15-day snow skiing course was organized by Department of Tourism for deaf and dumb players of the Valley. The course concluded successfully on Saturday in which 15 deaf and dumb players in both boys and girls categories participated.
The participants underwent basic skiing training and comfortably passed the final test.
Abdul Rashid Tourist officer Gulmarg said, “These special children worked hard during the course and were disciplined than the normal children. Our instructors loved to teach them as they were strictly following their instructions”.
The department intends to organize more such courses in future.
