State Department of Education documents say at least six incidents of inappropriate sexual conduct occurred between students or between students and staff at the Oregon School for the Deaf in recent years.
The records say that in one case a female student kidnapped another and abused her in a basement. In another case a 14-year-old student at the school spent the night at the house of an 18-year-old student on prom night.
In addition, there are incidents where a teacher gave a gifts deemed inappropriate to a student and another teacher continued to contact a student after being warned to stop.
