Have any one of you done it or know someone who did? I've done it with bikes and kiddie stuffs. I wonder what it's like with cars? I understand that I would drive my vehicle and park it on the lot. Let dealer sell it for me.

How is the share done? Say I want $2K for the car. If dealer sells it for $2500, they keep $500. Is that the way to do it?

Dealer will ask more and keep more, they are putting their name on the line, adding warrantys and whatnots so if you want 2K, be lucky to get 1000 to 1500 and they sold it for 4ooo...

You will not get $2K. They buy your car for $500 in cash. They can resell it for $2,500. The dealer pocket around $1,000 himself/herself, the rest of $1,000 goes to the expenses of the ads and DMV paperworks then last remain of the profits goes to the owner.

Dealers are always greedy. So Don't bother let them sell it for you.
