The New York Miniaturist Ensemble is a contemporary music group formed in 2004 by graduates of the Juilliard School. The ensemble is dedicated to the performance of music composed of 100 notes or fewer. NYME has premiered over 100 works by composers from all over the world.
Always searching for new sources of creative music, the ensemble is seeking people who have never heard music and are interested in composing. As with all works that we accept, submissions need not follow any standard form or syntax, but must be under 100 notes.
