Actor Sizemore Told to Beat Drugs or Die

Thu Feb 24, 5:58 PM ET Entertainment - Reuters Celebrity/Gossip

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actor Tom Sizemore was told on Thursday to either beat his addiction to methamphetamine or die from it.

A Los Angeles judge said the "Black Hawk Down" and "Saving Private Ryan" actor was "out of control and cannot stop. Meth has consumed any will he may have had to stop."

"There are two ways for you to go," Superior Court Judge Antonio Barreto Jr. told Sizemore at a hearing. "One is to recover. The other is to die."

Sizemore faces up to four years in jail when he is sentenced next month on charges of methamphetamine possession and violation of probation for a 2003 domestic violence conviction stemming from a short-lived relationship with former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.

Prosecutors said Sizemore, 43, had failed court-imposed drug testing seven times this month alone, despite living in a drug treatment center. In one case, he was caught trying to use a prosthetic penis sewn into his boxer shorts and filled with a clean urine sample to fake the results.

The judge rejected a prosecution request that Sizemore be taken into custody pending his March 24 sentencing date. :ugh:

Papers Allege Lohan's Dad's Death Threat

NEW YORK (Feb. 24) - The father of teen movie star Lindsay Lohan threatened to kill his estranged wife and children, according to allegations in divorce papers.

"O.J. Simpson has nothing on me," Michael Lohan allegedly told the family's security guard last year. "I know exactly how I'm going to kill (them). I know when I'm going to do it, and I'm going to enjoy it."

Divorce papers were filed last month by the 18-year-old star's mother, Dina Lohan, and allegations in them were published in Thursday's edition of the New York Daily News. Dina Lohan is seeking full custody of the couple's children, alimony and $1 million in damages.

According to the papers, Michael Lohan invoked the name of Simpson, the former football star acquitted of murder in the slayings of his ex-wife and her companion in 1994.

The documents also describe several instances in which Lohan, 44, allegedly beat his wife.

Michael Lohan's attorney, Dominic Barbara, did not return calls to the News seeking comment.

Lindsay Lohan is the star of such films as "Parent Trap," "Mean Girls," "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" and "Freaky Friday."
