Second Deaf Awareness Initative (from This Is Lancashire)
BURY College Business Solutions and Six Town Housing joined forces for the second year to mark Deaf Awareness Week.
Taster sessions about the different methods of communication used by deaf people and those with hearing difficulties were held by the college in Link House, Bury, for residents and staff at Six Town Housing.
Tutor Tracy Stanbank said: "The people who attended learnt how to communicate with a hearing impaired person in their areas of work."
Business Solutions is holding basic and intermediate courses in sign language and deaf awareness.
