I am curious does anyone involved in that sport or do Personal Protection sport with their dogs ?
 
I am not, but I wish I have enrolled my dogs for personal protection. I have two Aussies. I thought protecting is natural trait for every dog and only recently I found out it is not ..

Yes, you are correct. Really? What make you wish that you did enroll your dogs for personal protection? It is not too late because age doesn't matter. The most important is that the dog has balance drives. Nice to know that you are interested in it too, I really like to work with dogs.

Is that sort of dog insurance? Do we pay for the special dog protection?

Just ... you know.. "if anything", "God forbid", "in case".. etc.

Yeah I know they are not too old but my life changed in a way that nobody have time or patience to go for training anymore. But that's OK. I just sighed *I wish I did*, that's all :)

ps- I found out about training and natural traits (or their lack) for protection on TV show, if you wondered..

Yes there is a few ones. Yes, we do have to pay for the special insurance. Actually accidents rare happen like this because personal protection dogs are trained. They do not bite out of blue and they are trained to spot the danger.

Good example of this. Look at this website scroll down you will see a video clip " coffee shop cenario" and download it. You will see that this dog is not danger to be in the public, but he protects the woman from the danger that was going to happen.
